The Judges Have Spoken!

Sunday May 19th was an incredible night that hopefully will be setting the trend towards more major Tonight It’s Poetry events at the Broadway Theatre.  It was a powerful event overall.  A memory that sticks out in my mind was when the din of the air conditioning shut off and the poetry became almost all consuming. TiP has a new website!

This is our new site created / built / made with the help of Media Manifesto run by Adam Bissonnette.  Adam is a super great guy who wrote this news post to promote himself.  He’s pretty awesome.  He even wrote some of the other pages’ content which are quirky and wonderful.  Adam is known throughout the community for his poetry about the scary yet beautiful woman who works at 7/11, the one about the ewoks and that other one about gazelles.  He’s never actually “won” a poetry slam but that isn’t a big deal...
